Bagnificent was founded by me, Gerry Campbell, after having looked around as to what to do with my time when the children were all at school. I started off by importing designer bags for friends and family from Italy and demand began to grow by word of mouth.
After the Euro dropped against the £ when the economy crashed, there were no more bargains to be found. I had to find another outlet and thought that there could be a market selling pre-owned designer handbags.
Pre-owned and loved handbags are one of Bagnificent’s most successful sections. These are genuine designer handbags, previously owned and loved but which are now looking for a new home. It is also a great way of recycling.
